About Me

 I fell in love with Danish Design when I spent my college Junior year abroad in Copenhagen in 1978-79. I never wanted to leave! The Danes (those both ancient and present day) designed buildings, furnishings and home goods that are timeless. On visits to homes of friends or relatives of friends - no matter the city or country setting or what generation the inhabitants were -  I was impressed how many items in the homes were similar if not identical. They took pride in what their fellow Danish designers created.

Like everywhere, Copenhagen is growing and changing. So far, I like what I see. I'm back for a few months to discover and rediscover. Come on along and ooh and aah with me.
